Title:
Selterner Late Biedermeier Mahogany Pillar Table, Museum Piece with Written Provenance (c. 1840)

Description:
For sale is an absolutely majestic, round Biedermeier pillar table crafted from the finest mahogany (c. 1840–1850). A genuine piece of history for lovers of classical elegance and fine antiques.
This table embodies the late Biedermeier era to perfection: the masterfully worked baluster foot leads into a curved tripod base, while the top with its artistically wavy edge is a true eye-catcher in any room.
Special Highlight & Provenance:
For this table there is a historical, written appraisal from the Netherlands ("1 mahoniehouten tafel staande op 3-spant, laat Biedermeier"), which confirms its authenticity and age in black and white. Such a seamless history is a rare sight on the antique market and makes the piece especially attractive as a collector’s item.
Dimensions: Diameter/Width: 111 cm | Height: 75 cm
Material: Fine mahogany (veneered/massive) & includes a precisely fitted protective glass top
Condition: Good condition, with beautiful patina; the glass has two small nicks.

The wood radiates a warm, noble color.
Whether as an impressive centerpiece in the dining area, a stylish side table in the drawing room, or an elegant focal point in the entrance hall — this one-of-a-kind piece instantly adds class and character to any interior.
