The Apal Buggy "C" (the "C" stands for Court/short) is one of the most iconic models produced by the Belgian manufacturer APAL (Automobiles Plastique-Atelier de Liège) from the late 1960s to the early 1980s.
CARROSSERIE/PEINTURE
- Fibreglass and polyester resin
- Paint redone in 2022
- Chassis refurbished in 2022
TECHNIQUE
- Engine rebuilt by a professional in 2018
- Approximately 35,000 km since the engine rebuild
- Twin carburetors for more power compared to the original 1200 cc engine developing ~50 hp (now 1776 cc for ~90 hp)
- Improved reliability with electronic ignition type 009
- Improved reliability with the installation of an MRQ electric fuel pump
- Facet and MRQ fuel filter: King filter with pressure regulator
- Additional oil reservoir to prevent engine overheating, with a remote oil filter
