‘Americana’ - A route 66 in Scripophily’ . 66 Original historic shares and bonds from the era 1925-1990, including famous companies and real “Americana.” Some items are (by name) still traded on the NYSE, Please do your own checks and research.
Amongst Others:
(4) different Childs Company (1925-1955). Childs Restaurants, launched in 1889, one of the first succesfull dining chains in thet Unitd States, inventor of the ‘tray-line”self-service cafetaria format and a predecessor of companies such as McDonalds.
Pig’n Whitsle Corporation, 1927
The Pig'n Whistle was in the late 1920-ies the place in Hollywood for stars to gather after movie premieres and discuss the "industry" over cocktails. Household names like Cary Grant, Jane Wyman or Walter Pidgeon could often be spotted at The Pig'n Whistle.
