Lot of two Japanese B1 posters for Terry Gilliam’s The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988), released in Japan under the title バロン — Baron. The pair features two contrasting designs: • A striking red-and-black composition with a silhouetted horseman, luminous geometric lines and the film’s balloon motif. • A colourful fantasy composition combining a star-filled sky, floating characters and landscapes from the Baron’s extraordinary adventures. Together, these large-format posters offer two distinct interpretations of Gilliam’s imaginative world. An attractive pairing for collectors of Japanese cinema posters and admirers of the director’s work.
