Beautiful vintage champagne cooler, made for the Moët et Chandon house, in Épernay.
This cooler is adorned across its entire surface with relief grape clusters and vine tendrils and also bears the engraved text:
"MOËT & CHANDON Founded in 1743".
The two faces are identically engraved, the sides are equipped with rings that serve as handles.
The bottom is marked M.O.D MEAUX ARGIT Made in France, which is the manufacturer.
