This beautiful and impressive Ruby Zoisite carving is a striking decorative piece, featuring a black raven perched prominently on top of ruby-colored claw-like formations. The sculpture immediately stands out through its dramatic composition and the strong contrast between the dark bird, the vivid green zoisite, and the rich ruby-colored areas throughout the carving. The piece is full of movement and detail, with the raven carefully placed above an elaborate, highly textured base that gives the sculpture a powerful and expressive presence. The many carved elements create depth from every angle, while the polished finish enhances both the intensity of the colors and the sculptural character of the work. Especially attractive is the natural color combination typical of Ruby Zoisite, where green and dark tones are enlivened by vivid ruby-pink to purplish sections. This gives the carving a bold, almost mystical appearance and makes it a highly decorative collector’s object. A wonderful display piece for collectors of carvings, mineral art, and unusual natural stone sculptures.
