X-Trans II CMOS
The APS-C sensor features Fuji's innovative X-Trans design, where semi-randomly arranged color luma pixels eliminate the need for an anti-aliasing/low-pass filter without an increased risk of moiré. The sensor is also equipped with phase-detection pixels.

Film and WiFi
Unlike other retro cameras, the X-T2 features 4K video capability. With 4K resolution at 30fps, the X-T2 can film at very high quality. Connecting an external microphone is also possible. Furthermore, Fujifilm provides the X-T2 with Wi-Fi and it can be operated remotely.
