Pair of wooden columns carved, lacquered and gilded in an antique neoclassical Empire style, dating to 1910–1920, with two objects, about 82 cm high and 14 cm wide, weighing around 5 kg and in good used condition with minor signs of age and stains from Italy.

Pair of carved, lacquered and gilded wooden columns, dating from the late 1800s to the early 1900s, crafted in a refined Neoclassical/Empire style. The shaft features a dense, vertical two-tone fluting. The inner parts of the flutes retain the light lacquer (ivory/antique white), while the outer profiles and reliefs are finished with a precious gilding, partially worn with time (creating a splendid antique patina).
The capital, in classical inspiration, recalls the Corinthian order with acanthus leaf motifs. The finish here is predominantly gilded with greenish undertones.
The base has a circular stepped molding, also lacquered and enriched with gilded profiles.
These architectural elements were originally used as part of monumental furnishings (such as altars, antique bookcases, or fireplaces) or as interior decorative elements.
