Rare antique German character doll with a biscuit porcelain head, model Koppelsdorf, from Germany, dating to 1910–1920, 26 cm tall, in good condition and unpacked.

Beautiful and rare antique German character doll with a bisque porcelain head from the renowned doll region Koppelsdorf (Thuringia).
Details & Condition:
*Head: The bisque porcelain head is in a very nice visual condition with fine painting. On the back of the head/neck the doll is clearly marked with "Koppelsdorf D.R.G.M.".
*Face: Expressive character face with blue sleep eyes, painted eyelashes, distinctive eyebrows and an open mouth.
*Hands & Body: On one hand the tip of a finger is missing (see detail photo).
*Kleidung: The doll wears a charming antique outfit consisting of a dress with lace appliqués, matching cap, undergarments, socks, and small shoes. The textiles show age-related patina.
*Hinweis: The clothing and the shoes sit very firmly and were not removed to protect the delicate antique fabric.
