Description from the seller

Up for auction a splendid, solid and high-performance medium format twin-lens reflex camera: the Rolleicord Vb (Model K3Vb), produced in Germany by Franke & Heidecke in Braunschweig between 1962 and 1977.

The lot presents in very good overall condition and is perfectly functional, complete with its superb original Schneider-Kreuznach optical block.

Optics: The optical block is made up of two original fixed-position lenses with a 75mm focal length: superiorly it houses the extra-bright viewing lens Heidosmat 1:3.2/75, while inferiorly it is equipped with the prestigious and ultra-crisp taking lens Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 1:3.5/75. The lenses are in excellent preserved condition, free of scratches or traces of internal mildew or fungi.

Mechanical: The lot has been tested and is functioning. The high-performance mechanical central shutter Synchro-Compur responds promptly to manual commands, triggering reliably at all speeds.

Aesthetics: Very good overall condition, as clearly documented by the photographs. The solid metal body maintains its original finish very well and displays a beautiful visual impact. The original textured black leatherette covering is intact, well taut on the body and free of delamination.

Tracked international shipping, fully insured and professionally super-protective packaging to ensure maximum safety during transport.
