Description:
Classic Zenith 6400 vintage dress watch from the early 1960s, with a diameter of about 32 mm excluding the crown.
Particularly characteristic is the silver-colored dial with pronounced age-related patina and the historical Zenith star at 12 o’clock. The patina underscores the authentic vintage character of this specimen.
The star is not merely a decorative element but historically closely linked to the identity of the Swiss manufactory. Zenith describes the star as a central symbol of its brand history, linking the name “Zenith,” the highest point in the sky, with the so-called “Guiding Star.” Historical Zenith watches carry this traditional symbol on their dials accordingly.
Another distinctive detail is the clearly visible “6400” designation on the dial. Together with the framed date window at 3 o’clock, the slim hour markers, and the central seconds hand, this creates a classic mid-century design.
With its elegant 32 mm, the watch has typical vintage proportions and sits gracefully on the wrist.
