On this square format, Medsan places Kaneda, the hero of Akira, leaning over his red motorcycle in the hollow of a giant wave. He is seen from behind, shoulders lowered, both hands clenched on the handlebars, his head tucked into the collar of his red suit; the blue and white capsule marks his shoulder, and the Canon, CITIZEN and white star stickers run along the fairing. Under the wheels, a long red trail winds into the water and heads to the bottom of the frame.

The night-blue wave rises to the left, its white crest shattered into foam claws. Behind, the snow-capped Mount Fuji, a large red disk in a cream sky, and to the right a city of dark skyscrapers where the AKIRA signs glow in red, NEOTOKYO and TDK in blue. Pink petals traverse the entire scene. In the top left the cartouche 金田 and a red capsule framed, in the top right 赤い稲妻, in the bottom left 令和八年 春, and in the bottom right the cartouche メドサン.
