Refined and imposing center desk (bureau plat) in Louis XV style, made in the second half of the 20th century.
The piece features a rich, contoured silhouette on all four sides, making it perfect to be placed at the center of a room or executive study. It is adorned with substantial trimmings, feet and handles in bronze/gilded brass finely worked with rocaille motifs.
The generously sized work surface is clad in leather with a dry-stamped border. The structure includes 5 roomy front drawers.
