Tray - Metal

A splendid and refined vintage pedestal support in a shuttle shape, made in Italy by the renowned MAC jewelers in the second half of the 20th century.

The piece features sinuous, elegant lines, highlighted by two splendid handles worked with floral motifs and Baroque appliqués along the edges. The base bears the marks that certify its quality: the MAC logo, the words "Made in Italy," the mark for pure silver bath (1000/1000), and the specification "Inalterabile" (Unalterable). The latter indicates that the piece underwent a special protective treatment at its origin to preserve its shine over time.

Thanks to its harmonious and balanced dimensions, it lends itself to being an incredibly versatile furniture piece for the contemporary home. It can be used as an elegant entry tray, a refined jewelry or trinket holder on a bedroom dresser, a candy/chocolate holder in the living room to receive guests, a decorative centerpiece for a formal table, or a display piece.

Dimensions: length 23 cm (including handles), width 15 cm, height 7.5 cm.

The piece is in excellent overall condition and retains a beautiful sheen. As a vintage item, it may show some light age-related marks on the surface; in particular, there are a few small oxidation spots inside the tray, visible in the attached photograph, which do not compromise its elegance and retro charm.

The item is being sold "as is," as described and shown in the photographs.
