Gaetano Sciolari - Hanging lamp - Orbit - Cromo

Iconic chandelier by Gaetano Sciolari, a renowned Italian designer and entrepreneur of avant-garde lighting in the twentieth century. This specific piece is part of the famous "Sculpture" series (often identified also by the name "Orbit" or "Sirius" depending on the catalog and distribution markets of the era, such as Lightolier in the United States). It is characterized by a minimalist structure in polished chrome metal with vertical cannon-like tubes and geometric metal connecting plates, internally painted in light tones (white or cream). This is an original production dating roughly to the late 1960s and the 1970s.
