SFERA is a blue floor‑mirror semi-sphere made of molded polyurethane foam, designed by Piero Gilardi for Gufram in 1972, with a 36 cm diameter and weighing 3 kg, featuring a counterweight to return to the correct position and in excellent condition.

"SFERA", a polyurethane foam hemisphere with a ground-facing mirror function, painted in blue Guflac. Thanks to a counterweight, the sphere always returns to the correct position. Made by artist Piero Gilardi in 1972 for Gufram and today out of production. It measures 36 cm in diameter and weighs 3 kg. Excellent condition with some signs of wear.
Gufram is a company of seating and home accessories founded in 1966, known for its influence in the field of industrial design and for helping revolutionize furniture aesthetics. Their sculptural objects show influences from various artistic movements such as Pop Art, Conceptual Art, Illusionism, Naturalism, and Modern Design.
