- Inscriptions: Obverse: REPUBLICA PORTUGUESA 1935. Reverse: ESTADO DA INDIA 1 RUPIA.
- Grade: MS63 (NGC).
Silver coin minted for the Portuguese State of India, representing the Portuguese colonial presence in Asia. The design includes the coat of arms of Portugal with the traditional arms and a shield representing the State of India. These coins have significant historical relevance due to the connection with Portuguese maritime commerce and the occupation of Goa.
