AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Elegant antique occasional/work table with a round marquetry top, made of fine wood and distinguished by refined craftsmanship.
Period: late 19th – early 20th century
Style: Liberty / Art Nouveau with eclectic decorative elements
Material: wood, veneer and decorative marquetry
Provenance: Italy, attributed according to its construction and decorative characteristics
Dimensions: height 73 cm – diameter/width 40 cm
The table features an elegant round top, richly decorated with floral and botanical marquetry, made using different shades of wood. The central floral motif is surrounded by graceful scrolling and vegetal decorations, beautifully highlighting the natural grain of the wood.
The apron beneath the top incorporates a front drawer, fitted with a decorative metal handle. The drawer provides a small practical storage compartment.
The piece stands on four slender legs, enhanced by turned details and connected at the lower section by an elegant triangular wooden shelf. The shaped feet add a particularly refined appearance.
The table retains a beautiful aged patina with warm brown and honey tones. The photographs show the actual condition of the piece: there are normal signs of age, minor surface imperfections and traces of use, consistent with its age and character. The structure appears overall stable.
A versatile piece that can be used as a side table, occasional table, bedside table, reading table or entrance table, and which would work particularly well in classic, vintage, Liberty, Art Nouveau or eclectic interiors.
A decorative and functional antique piece, suitable for collectors and enthusiasts of antique Italian furniture and traditional marquetry.
Packaging and shipping: the item will be carefully packed for transportation. Delivery times may vary, approximately 5 to 15 days depending on the destination.
