Spectacular and imposing decorative basket/bowl in solid crystal from the famous Belgian crystal maker Val Saint Lambert.
This Mid-Century sculptural piece is distinguished by its hot-stretched lines converging upward to form a spectacular openwork handle.
Made in crystal of exceptional clarity, highlighted by a rich shade of stretched fuchsia pink along the edges.
The piece retains its original paper label stamped "VAL ST LAMBERT - BELGIUM".
Manufacture : Val Saint Lambert (Belgium).
Designer / Model : Attributed to the art creations of René Delvenne or Charles Graffart (1950–1960).
Technique : Glass blown and hand-stretched (freehand work).
Marking : Original silvered label on the inner face.
Period : Circa 1950–1960.
Condition :
Very good overall vintage condition. The crystal retains all its brilliance. Presence of normal wear scratches under the underside of the base (natural rubbing from placing, see detail photo). No major chips or cracks visible on the structure.
