Description from the seller
HIGHLIGHTS:
• High-spec "Black Line" special edition produced after the Volkswagen takeover
• First registered in June 1993 with only three owners from new (first owner held until 2018)
• Retains original Czech registration book, two keys, and original CHD 73-74 license plates
• Well-equipped featuring Eben Black paintwork, anatomic seats, sunroof, and 14" refurbished Ronal Centra alloy wheels
• Complete documentation including service booklet, owner's manuals, invoices, and inspection protocols verifying mileage
HISTORY/OVERVIEW:
Introduced in the late 1980s, the Škoda Favorit marked a major transition for the Czech manufacturer to front-engine, front-wheel-drive passenger cars, designed in collaboration with Bertone. Following Volkswagen's acquisition of Škoda, various upgraded special editions were introduced, among which the "Black Line" stands out as one of the most desirable, high-specification trim levels. First registered in June 1993 by Škoda dealer Auto spektrum s.p. in Mariánské Lázně, this car remained with its original owner until 2018 before passing to two private collectors. The car is presented with its original license plates (CHD 73-74), valid technical inspection, and original registration document.
BODYWORK/PAINT:
The car is finished in Eben Black paintwork, which previously received a full respray due to fading. The exterior features fog lights, a rear Hella light panel, and original 14" Ronal Centra alloy wheels that have been refurbished. All panels, window seals, and glass present in well-maintained condition.
INTERIOR:
The cabin is fitted with the factory "Black Line" specification, including anatomic seats, central locking, electric front windows, a sunroof, and a two-spoke steering wheel. Entertainment is provided by a period-correct Blaupunkt Paris RCR 42 cassette radio paired with an upgraded Škoda stereo system. All equipment and electrical features are reported to be in working order.
MECHANICS:
The car retains its original mechanical components, having received regular servicing and minor maintenance throughout its life. Given its mileage, no major mechanical overhauls were required, and the vehicle operates without issues.
DOCUMENTS:
The vehicle is supplied with its original registration document (book), original service booklet, owner's manuals, maintenance invoices, technical inspection protocols confirming the mileage, and two original keys.
The vehicle can be viewed and picked up. Bids do not include transportation or export costs unless stated otherwise. Arranging transport, transfer of ownership, and any applicable export/COC fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
