Antique walnut veneer and solid walnut chest of drawers dating to 1850–1900, in the Luigi Filippo or Carlo X style, 115 cm wide, 96 cm high, 58 cm deep, origin Italy (Lombardia), weight about 30 kg, in good condition with minor signs of wear.

Type: antique dresser / chest of drawers / commode.
Stile e Periodo: Louis-Philippe or Charles X style (mid-late 19th century, roughly 1840-1880).
Legno e Finitura: Veneered/laminated in walnut burlwood and solid walnut. The fronts of the drawers feature evocative inlays with shaped geometric reliefs.
Struttura e Dettagli:
Drawers: 4 drawers in total (3 main drawers plus a slightly protruding upper drawer with a grooved/edge). Each drawer is fitted with an original bronze/brass lock with a shaped escutcheon.
Montanti e Piedi: Front stiles rounded (half-column) ending in typical onion-shaped, turned feet.
Condizioni: The piece appears in good overall condition, with a beautiful antique patina. Very small signs of time and wear are visible (slight scratches/chips on the lower edge and at the joints of the side panels), entirely natural for a piece from the 19th century.
The commode is located in Bergamo; for packing it is advisable to procure cloth coverings and bubble wrap.
Assistance is offered to help load the commode onto an appropriate transport vehicle.
