Guzzini - Sculpture, The Stone - 90 cm - Plastic, Resin

Iconic wall-mounted CD rack “The Stone”, a masterpiece of Italian postmodern design designed by the architect Enzo Calabrese and produced by Fratelli Guzzini starting from 1998. This model was also exhibited at the MoMA in Los Angeles for its incredible organic aesthetic force (reminiscent of a river stone).
The piece presents itself as a true wall sculpture. Conditions: The plastic (white/opaque translucent variant) is intact, structurally perfect, clean and free of cracks in the slots. It bears the original mark stamped on the back ("Guzzini Made in Italy Recanati") attesting to its authenticity. Note on bolts: Of the three original plastic mounting bolts, only one is present. The piece is nonetheless easily and securely wall-hangable using two common hardware anchors with washers or can be reproduced identically by a 3D printer.
