AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
The camera is in a neat, used condition for its age, with normal signs of light use. The body is visually well cared for and shows no notable damage. A beautiful classic Leica for enthusiasts of analog photography and the Leica R system.
Extensively tested
The camera has not only been mechanically checked, but actual photos were taken on film. The film was then professionally developed and digitized.
Additionally, the following functions have been checked, among others:
Camera powered on with a new battery.
Shutter tested at various shutter speeds.
Mirror movement checked.
Film transport and rewind mechanism checked.
Exposure meter tested; it responds to changes in settings/light conditions.
Shutter release button and various controls checked.
Self-timer tested.
Various mechanical functions and controls checked.
Battery compartment checked and looks clean.
Actual test shots were taken with the camera on film and these were developed and digitized.
Important: this is a used analog camera of considerable age. I have tested the camera as extensively as possible, but it has not been serviced or fully measured against factory specifications by a professional Leica technician. I therefore cannot guarantee that all functions and parts operate fully according to the original factory specifications. The camera is sold in the condition described and pictured.
The body is sold as pictured, without a lens.
