John Buscema - 1 Original preliminary page - Conan the Barbarian

John Buscema Original Art – Double-Sided Signed Preliminary Layout – Epic Fantasy Artwork

(Legendary Marvel artist, renowned for Conan the Barbarian, Wolverine, and many other classic titles)

Medium: Pencil on layout paper

Key Features:
Front (Recto): Multi-panel working sheet featuring rough compositions of epic fantasy battles in classic Conan style, juxtaposed with quirky urban elements — including a character strongly resembling Wolverine crouching near a vehicle, and a surreal highway sign reading “Portion Rd. Exit.”

Back (Verso): Several character and head study sketches in pencil, hand-signed by the artist (“John Buscema”).

Condition: Good overall condition. Shows typical handling marks from Buscema’s own studio use as a working layout sheet, but remains clean and presents beautifully.
