Description from the seller

20th century
The set consists of:
• The Dagger: Features a hand-forged iron blade with a single edge, characterized by a slight curvature toward the tip and a magnificent uniform dark patina developed over time. The handle, flaring toward the pommel, is made of solid natural bone, with a hand-forged iron securing block riveted at the top.
• The Scabbard: Original internal structure lined in ceremonial red fabric/leather. The scabbard is magnificently adorned with boldly worked brass protective bands, finely raised and pierced with lattice patterns and floral scrolls, typical of Buddhist iconography and craftsmanship of Central Asia.
Dimensions: Total length about 36 cm (blade about 23-24 cm).
Conditions: The item is in a fair and honest state of preservation. It has not undergone modern restorations or invasive chemical cleaning, preserving its original historic patina and the signs of time on the organic materials and metal, elements that ensure its authenticity.
