Description from the seller
An original-era Scalextric Exin GP-26, a very interesting piece for collectors of vintage Scalextric and Spanish toys from the 1970s.
The lot preserves the original box of the circuit, with its classic GP-26 illustration, in addition to a significant amount of documentation and original papers from the era.
Contents of the lot:
* 1 original Scalextric GP-26 box.
* 2 Sigma cars, including a Sigma Ref. 4047, with original decoration.
* Scalextric race set consisting of numerous curves and straight sections.
* Additional track sections.
* 2 original controllers.
* Original transformer/rectifier.
* Connectors and accessories.
* Super Paralelo pieces.
* Original instruction manual and Scalextric regulations.
* Sigma car maintenance documentation and instructions.
* Original documentation of Exin-Lines Bros. S.A.
* Schematics and circuit documentation.
* Original inspection card/documentation.
* Original envelope with the GP-26 circuit contents list.
The documentation retains the original list of contents for Circuit G.P. 26, including the two Sigma cars, transformer–rectifier, curve and straight track sections, speed control handles, and Super Paralelo plates.
Condition
Generally good condition for its age, considering it is a vintage toy from several decades ago.
The box shows signs of storage, wear, and aging typical of its age. The tracks show normal signs of use and storage. The cars show some wear on the body but preserve their original appearance very well and are especially attractive as collectible pieces.
Electrical operation of all components has not been exhaustively verified, so the lot should be considered mainly as a vintage collection item.
The photographs are part of the description and show the state and contents of the lot.
An opportunity for collectors of Scalextric Exin, vintage Spanish toys, and miniature motor racing. The preservation of the original box and, especially, the abundant period documentation adds extra interest to the set.
