Description from the seller
19th-century liturgical chalice entirely in 800 silver with gilded cup – 310 g
Elegant 19th-century liturgical chalice, made entirely of 800 silver, with an internally gold-plated cup and on the upper exterior.
The object features refined workmanship with a classic taste, including a circular fluted base, a turned stem with ring elements and a central knot, and a flared cup. The contrast between the silver surface and the gilding of the cup gives the chalice great elegance and presence.
The mark “800” is present, visible on the cup, the body tested with reagent as in the photo.
Dimensions: height 21.3 cm; base diameter 12.3 cm; cup diameter 9 cm.
Total weight: about 310 g of 800 silver.
The chalice is presented in excellent overall condition, with any minor signs compatible with age and use, clearly visible in the photographs.
A fine example of 19th-century sacred silverware, interesting for both liturgical art collectors and as a decorative high-quality object.
The photographs are an integral part of the description.
The object will be packed with the utmost care using professional materials suitable to protect it during transit.
