We present an elegant Beijing Chinese rug, Aubusson style, made during the 1970-1980 period.
It is woven in wool on a cotton base using manual tufting technique. In this system, the wool is inserted manually into the base and fixed on the back with a special adhesive compound. Finally, a protective textile lining is added that provides stability and protects the entire lower structure.
It stands out for its delicate floral design, soft pastel tones, and the beautiful shine of the wool, which changes slightly depending on the incidence of light.
The rug is in perfect condition, practically like new and barely used, since it has only been laid on the floor twice. The protective backing lining is also in excellent condition.
