Automata - Germany - 1950-1960 - Griesbaum singing bird

Presented is a so-called singing bird automaton, i.e., two singing birds in a cage.
The whole thing operates mechanically with a spring-wind.
After activation, the birds begin to cheerfully chirp in turn, and one of them moves its head, wings and beak, while the other moves its wings and beak.
The whole thing was made around 1950 by the Griesbaum Company in the Black Forest.
You can see and hear these birds on our own YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/kNvCmS1mfBg?si=SwEVy8KWF6Kycs2h
