Description from the seller
VOIGTLANDER Bessa-L, tested and working.
Hello from Japan!
We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.
The Voigtländer Bessa-L (1999), made by Cosina, is a compact, viewfinder-less 35mm body with the Leica thread (M39) mount and built-in TTL metering, designed especially for ultra-wide lenses such as the Voigtländer 12mm and 15mm used with a separate accessory finder. Its simple, rugged design and LTM mount make it a popular and affordable way to shoot classic screw-mount lenses on film. Offered here as a body with its original box.
Condition: Used — Excellent +5
Pre-owned, minimal signs of use
Serial Number
Please check the photo.
Appearance
Very clean, minimal signs of use. Supplied with the original box. Please check the photos for details.
Optical Condition
Shutter / mount: Clean
Functional
The shutter and TTL meter work; measured shutter speeds and exposure are accurate.
Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- 1 s — measured 1/1.1 s (approx. 0.1 stop fast)
- 1/60 — measured 1/50 s (approx. 0.3 stop slow)
- 1/1000 — measured 1/868 s (approx. 0.2 stop slow)
- Light meter accuracy — EV12: 0.9 OVER / EV15: 0.1 OVER
Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself.
Bundled Items
Body with body cap and original box as pictured.
Important Notes for Used Items
As this is a used item, subtle imperfections may exist that are not individually described.
