Elegant 1970s Lalique candle holder. In colorless crystal on a sculptural pedestal with five cobalt blue crystal bowls radiating at the top like petals, each equipped with a gilded brass binet. Small brass beads punctuate the underside of the crown. The deep blue against the transparency of the crystal gives the piece a serene and decidedly modern look.

Signed Lalique France, engraved under the foot.

Dimensions: height 11 cm x diameter 23 cm

Condition: Excellent, with no chips or cracks.

About Lalique: René Lalique began as a jeweler before dedicating himself to glass. The house that bears his name has been a reference in French crystal since the early 20th century: vases, sculptures, tableware and decorative objects.

En cristal incolore sur un piédouche sculptural avec cinq coupelles en cristal bleu cobalt rayonnent au sommet comme des pétales, chacune équipée d'un binet en laiton doré. De petites perles en laiton ponctuent le dessous de la couronne. Le bleu profond contre la transparence du cristal confère à la pièce un aspect serein et résolument moderne.

Signé Lalique France, gravé sous le pied.
