Vallauris - Marius Bessone (1929-2001) - Dish - Ceramic

Superb and rare circular ceramic plate from the Vallauris Golden Age period around 1960, made by the great master ceramist Marius Bessone (1929-2001).

This piece is an exceptional testimony to the artistic and technical know-how of the Bessone workshop, combining a modern pictorial work on the front with a unique enamel research on the back.

On the plate there is a very rich decorative figurative scene of musicians, characteristic of his style in the 1960s.

Signed on the back Bessone Vallauris.

Model in fat lava.

In perfect condition.
