Rouen - Flower pot - Polychroom - Faience - Cachepot - Neo-Baroque

Atmospheric and richly decorated French ceramic flower pot (cache-pot) in the classic Rouen faience style.

The piece stands out for its rich, polychrome decoration and the classical form with a scalloped rim and graceful handles, characteristic of this type of earthenware.
The cache-pot is made of ceramic and is entirely hand-painted, as indicated by the marking 'Fait Main' on the bottom, with refined scroll motifs, flowers and Baroque patterns in fresh, traditional colors.

The pot features raised, wavy rims and graceful handles on the sides, the interior is simply glazed, ready for use.
Marked and numbered on the bottom: "814 ROUEN. FAIT MAIN.".

Period: approx. 1920 – 1950 (early to mid-20th century).

Dimensions:
Height: 17 cm
Diameter: 21 cm.

The overall condition of the pot is very good, in beautiful vintage condition with a wonderful authentic character and light, normal signs of age on the glaze.
