Description from the seller
Extremely Rare Philips Industrial Testing Equipment & Lab Power Supply (1955 & 1962) – Internal Factory Use (E.B.M. / H.I.G.A.)
Description:
For the true collector of vintage electronics and industrial history: a unique, museum-grade set of two analog Philips test and measurement instruments.
These devices were never sold commercially in stores. They carry the rare "3E" type coding, meaning they were specially designed and built in the 1950s and 1960s by and for the internal technical services of the Philips factories in Eindhoven. The engravings E.B.M. (Elektrische Bedrijfs Mechanisatie) and H.I.G.A. (Hoofd Industrie Groep Apparaten/Audio) confirm that these instruments were used on Philips’ own production floor or test laboratories for quality control (including for electron tubes/radiolamps).
