Tudor Monarch 15900 men’s 36 mm stainless steel mechaquartz chronograph with a blue sunburst dial, five-link integrated bracelet, tachymeter bezel, powered by the Frédéric Piguet 1270 movement, dating from 2000–2010, in very good condition with minor wear; bracelet fits up to 6.8 inches, no original box or papers, shipped insured.
Description from the seller
While standard black or white dial iterations of the Monarch 15900 appear occasionally, the factory blue sunburst dial is more of a unicorn – this one is currently the only example available for sale online. It has a perfectly proportioned 36mm case, a tachymeter bezel that gives it a sportier look, and an integrated five-link bracelet.
What makes it truly remarkable is what lies beneath the dial: a high-end Frédéric Piguet 1270 mechaquartz movement. Made by one of Switzerland’s most prestigious manufactures (which produced ebauches for AP, Blancpain, and Breguet), it’s often considered one of the best hybrid chronograph calibers ever made.
Condition: Great pre-owned condition with minor usage markings. The bezel has a few scratches but overall it’s in good condition. There’s a small ding between the pushers but it’s barely noticeable. Please refer to the pictures for a better description.
Reference: 15900
Case Size: 36 x 41.1mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 10.4mm.
Movement: Frédéric Piguet 1270, mechaquartz 12-hour chronograph movement with 22 jewels and date window at 12. Service history is unknown, but all functions work as they should.
Bracelet: Original Tudor five-link integrated bracelet. Will fit a wrist of up to 6.8 inches (17.3 cm).
