Alfredo Grimaldi – “The Flowering Coast”

A village of pale houses descends along the slope until it meets an intensely blue sea. The buildings follow one another with red and pinkish roofs, dark windows, and walls lit up, immersed in vegetation rendered with touches of green, yellow, and fuchsia. The mountainous profile in the background accompanies the descent of the coast and leads the gaze toward the horizon’s opening.
In the small harbor, white and red boats float on water streaked by quick reflections.
