AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Pair of antique French candelabras from the Napoleonic III period, 19th century, in gilded and patinated bronze.

Each candelabrum features four branches with candle cups, arms in scrolls, and rich decorative ornamentation characteristic of the Second Empire.

The central upper element is topped with a removable decorative flame, finely worked. It can be removed to visually conceal the central position when the candelabrum is used with only the side branches.

The combination of gilded bronze and dark patinated bronze, along with foliage motifs, scrolls, and classic ornaments, gives the whole an especially elegant presence.

Condition: antique state with visible signs of wear and use, notably wear to the gilding and patina in places. These marks are consistent with the pieces’ age and contribute to their authentic character.

Dimensions:

* Height: 45 cm / 17.7 inches
* Span: 18 cm / 7.1 inches
* Weight: 2 x 2400 grams
