Mackie 2404VLZ4

The Mackie 2404VLZ4 is a professional 24-channel, 4-bus analog live sound mixer with an integrated 4x2 USB audio interface and dual effect processors.
Known for its distinctive Built-Like-A-Tank rugged steel construction, it is designed for mid-sized venues, touring bands, churches, and project studios that require high headroom and a low-noise mix.
Key specifications and audio routing
Preamps and inputs: Equipped with 20 high-quality Onyx microphone preamps with an ultra-wide gain range of 60 dB and a dynamic range of 128.5 dB. Includes 20 line inputs with high headroom and separate channel inserts.
Channel architecture: 24 channels in total, with a 3-band EQ with a selectable mid band, an 18 dB/oct 100 Hz low-pass filter on the microphone inputs, and 60 mm long, durable faders with a logarithmic taper.
Aux-sends and subgroups: 6 aux sends with pre/post-fader options. 4 subgroups allow you to group multi-microphone setups (such as drums or choirs) on shared faders.
Dynamics and digital effects processing
Inline compression: Features a total of 8 compressors with a single-knob operation. Four are assigned to the last four mono channels (channels 17-20) to level dynamic lead signals such as vocals or snare drums. The other four are intended for the 4 subgroups.
Dual FX processors: Equipped with two 32-bit RMFX+ processors delivering 24 readily usable effects, including reverb, choruses, and tap-syncable delays.
USB interface and recording capabilities
4x2 audio interface: An integrated 24-bit USB interface enables 4 audio tracks from the subgroups, the main L/R mix, or Aux 5/6 to be streamed directly to a PC or Mac.
Stereo Return: Allows you to send 2 channels of digital playback from your computer back to the mixer (assigned to channels 23/24) for music playback or monitoring software plugins.
