STORIA / PANORAMICA
The Mitsubishi 3000GT represents the most advanced Japanese sports car of the 1990s, characterized by an aggressive design and advanced technological solutions for the era. The version offered in the auction adopts sophisticated systems such as four-wheel steering (4WS), Active Aero, and ECS electronically controlled suspension, technologies developed to improve stability, aerodynamics, and dynamic behavior at different speeds.
The example offered at auction is a 2000 model and is equipped with the VR-4/MR engine. The presence of 4WS, Active Aero, and ECS dampers highlights its technological equipment and sporty character, representing one of the most advanced expressions of the late-1990s Japanese automotive school.
EXTERIOR
The car preserves the classic original Hamilton Silver Metallic color code A71, as reported on the factory identification tag and with mostly factory-original paint. It has never been modified with aftermarket parts.
The bodywork is extremely solid, free of corrosion and in excellent overall condition, showing only minimal signs from normal use. All body details and mouldings are still in excellent condition. A professional polishing and detailing treatment was recently carried out. A gauge check did not reveal any signs of accidents or structural repairs. The Carfax certificate confirms the original mileage and the absence of accidents.
The underbody is in excellent condition, completely original, solid and consistent with the car’s transparent history and low mileage.
INTERIOR
The cabin features a sporty configuration, with fully leather-clad, form-fitting seats in keeping with the Gran Turismo character of the model. The interiors are well preserved and show only minimal signs of use. The dashboard retains the factory-original instrumentation and the equipment includes heated seats, automatic climate control, and the original steering wheel.
No warning lights are illuminated on the instrument cluster.
A thorough sanitization of the entire cabin has also been carried out recently.
MECHANICS
The car is perfectly operable. The 3.0-liter V6 biturbo engine starts promptly and delivers power smoothly. The transmission, clutch, and braking system operate correctly. A maintenance check at an official service center has been performed. The technical inspection has just been passed without any defects and is valid until October 2028. The car is delivered with two original keys and has recently been fitted with a new battery.
The 2000 Mitsubishi 3000GT represents one of the most advanced expressions of Japanese sports cars of its era, thanks to the V6 biturbo engine and the sophisticated technical solutions that characterize its configuration. The model stands out for its 90,000 kilometers traveled, mostly-original paint, well-preserved underbody, and a Carfax report showing no incidents. Completing the profile is the recently passed revision that further enhances the appeal of this interesting specimen.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
