Boxing punching bag - all leather - with chains
Large vintage brown leather boxing punch bag marked : Repton Boxing club
Repton Boxing Club in London was founded in 1884 and is the oldest established Boxing Gym in the country. The club is affiliated with the A.B.A. and is a Gym for serious, Competitive Amateur Boxing and not to be confused with the type of Boxing classes provided by leisure centres. The Gym oozes energy and character and is has been the birthplace of over 500 National champions. The standard of Boxing is of international standard, competitive and is definitely not a place for the PC Brigade or faint hearted.
This punch bag is a facsimile of the old punch bags that were used in the early days of boxing.
All leather and comes with a pair of chains to hang it. It can actually be used but it is a seriously decorative and masculine must-have.
It comes without a filling due to size and weight. Fill it with cheap sawdust (pet shop) or old rags like they used to do.
