HISTORY / OVERVIEW
The Aston Martin Vanquish V12 represents one of the most significant interpretations of the British grand tourer from the early 2000s, characterized by an elegant yet sporty design, refined build quality, and the powerful V12 engine, a symbol of the brand Aston Martin’s performance tradition.
This example, registered in 2001, presents in the refined Sky Silver hue, a launch color at the Geneva Motor Show, paired with a tasteful cabin trimmed in full leather. The car was delivered new in Italy and subsequently confiscated and sold in the famous bankruptcy auction "Duemila ruote" and sold at RM Sotheby’s auction, as documented by the invoice and the lot photos confirming provenance, and since then has covered very few kilometers.
EXTERIOR
The bodywork retains its original factory paint (except the front bumper, repainted due to minor stone chipping) and presents in excellent overall condition. A detailing and polishing treatment has just been completed and the car is in excellent condition. A thickness measurement check revealed no signs of accidents or bodywork interventions; this finding is consistent with Carfax documentation that also certifies the mileage.
The chassis and structure of the car are completely original and in excellent condition, coherent with the extremely low mileage and absence of accident traces.
INTERIOR
The cabin is in beautiful original condition, with beige leather upholstery, door panels, carpet, headliner, center console and related details well preserved and fully original.
Soft Touch treatment shows very acceptable conditions with no urgent intervention needed.
All internal kit of the little glove compartment is present, including the rare period optional car telephone.
The entire cabin has recently undergone a thorough sanitization treatment.
MECHANICS
The vehicle is equipped with the original 6.0-liter V12 engine, mid-mounted, delivering 457 HP, in a matching-numbers configuration. The powertrain is perfectly functional, it starts regularly and shows no mechanical defects detected. The transmission also works correctly along with the rest of the car.
Maintenance has always been performed: 3,949km, 5,850km, 8,306km, 10,1153km, 111.10km, 24,900 with the last service just completed at the Official Aston Martin Workshop.
The specially certified provenance with personalizations, the elegant factory-original Sky Silver color, the preservation of the first paint, the original interior, the matching-numbers engine and above all the extremely low mileage of only 25,000 km, documented and certified, contribute to making this example particularly interesting.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
