AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Fariboles – Disney – Captain Hook – 2023
Numbered copy: 113/499 (certificate of Fariboles)
Fariboles captures here all the flamboyant theatricality of the most vain pirate. Standing in a proud and assured pose, Captain Hook displays his baroque elegance: hand on hip, impeccably curled mustache, and a defiant gaze fixed into the void – or perhaps toward Peter Pan…
Each detail reflects the original Disney aesthetic: the finesse of the costume, the mannered silhouette, and the assumed flamboyance of the mise-en-scène. Through this sculpture, the swagger and the ridicule of a cult villain are expressed, between menace and burlesque.
A masterful piece, as imposing as it is iconic, paying homage to one of the most charismatic antagonists of the studio with the big ears.
