Legendary DDR studio microphone: RFT VEB Mikrofontechnik Gefell MV 691 with M 70 nickel capsule
For sale is a true classic of studio history from the traditional workshop VEB Mikrofontechnik Gefell (formerly Neumann-Gefell). These microphones are renowned worldwide for their excellent, detailed sound and use extremely thin nickel membranes.
Details of the set:
• Capsule: Original RFT M 70 small-diaphragm capsule (cardioid). The engraving "M 70" is clearly visible.
• Amplifier body: RFT MV 691 transistor microphone preamplifier (inscription on the base: "RFT VEB Mikrofontechnik Gefell").
• Accessories: The microphone comes in the precisely fitting, original wooden box with foam insert.
Condition:
• Visual: [Example: The microphone is in visually very good vintage condition with light, age-related signs of wear on the housing and the capsule. The foam in the case shows age-related deterioration / is still intact – please examine the detailed photos carefully.]
