Circle and artistic influence:
ㅤ
Jordi Sugrañes is a painter linked to the Catalan landscape tradition of the 20th century. In this work he develops a figurative representation of the Mediterranean coastal landscape, characterized by careful drawing, attention to natural details and treatment of light.
ㅤ
The composition stylistically relates to the Catalan marine tradition and to the interpretations of the Mediterranean coastline developed by painters such as Eliseu Meifrèn and Joaquim Mir, although it maintains a language closer to descriptive realism.
ㅤ
The work depicts a tranquil cove of the Costa Brava, presided over by a small fishing boat beached on the sand.
ㅤ
In the foreground a white boat stands out, hull dark and with reddish details, located slightly displaced toward the left. Its arrangement allows appreciation of the boat’s structure and the mooring elements.
ㅤ
On the left side rises a pronounced rocky cliff, whose surface is represented through a careful combination of grays, browns and ochers. Mediterranean vegetation crowns the top of the rocks.
ㅤ
The sea occupies the central and right sectors of the composition, extending to a clear horizon. Its blue waters show small undulations and luminous reflections, while a soft line of foam marks contact with the shore.
ㅤ
Natural light contributes to create a serene atmosphere, with a palette dominated by marine blues, golden sands and earthy tones.
ㅤ
The technique presents a detailed execution, especially in the treatment of the rocks, the boat and the reflections on the water surface.
ㅤ
The work is signed in the lower right corner.
ㅤ
It is presented in a wooden frame with broad moldings, dark finish almost black, with a fine ivory interior edge and golden details. Its geometric line design provides an elegant contrast with the brightness of the maritime landscape.
ㅤ
Observations:
ㅤ
The work may incur damage during transport even with proper packaging. In that case, we will need photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority.
ㅤ
Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by an extra charge due to reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excess dimensions or weight of the item. PremiArt will in no case cover this surcharge.
ㅤ
The courier that must pass through the Swiss border can be delayed much more than normal, so, if possible to speed up processing, we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so the customer can unblock it and thus reach its destination. Experience has taught us that this is the most effective solution for both parties.
ㅤ
Due to high volume of shipments it is possible that the order is delayed more than three days, so we apologize and thank you for your patience. Any questions about your order please contact us via internal messaging.
