A fine German terrestrial globe by Dietrich Reimer, Berlin, dated 1928. Published by the Kartographisches Institut of the publishing house D. Reimer (E. Vohsen) A.G., the globe bears the original inscription: “Dietrich Reimers – ERDGLOBUS – herausgegeben von dem Kartogr. Institut der Verlagshandlung von D. REIMER (E. VOHSEN) A.G. – Berlin – 1928”. The 34 cm globe is mounted on an elegant ebonized wooden stand, with a total height of approximately 63 cm, and features a finely graduated brass semi-meridian.
