There is no center pickup anymore for AC locomotives.
The original Märklin motor has been removed and replaced with an SB-Modellbau motor (see photos).
This is a whisper-quiet motor.
Motor and conversion to DC have been done by a professional.
You can operate the lifting bridge analog, simple digital control via M84 decoder (see above).
But this lifting bridge can also be controlled with the Schiebebühne decoder 2020 from BMB Technik.
With the decoder you can adjust the speed of the bridge, get feedback, DCC/Motorola and support for the SB-Modellbau motors. See the supplier's website for more information.
