Description
Superb old travel trunk with a domed lid, made of wood and reinforced by numerous bands and riveted metal fittings.
The trunk features a very beautiful antique patina, with marks, scratches, color variations and signs of use that give it character and attest to its history.
A particularly remarkable element is its oval brass plate bearing the inscription “F. DELANNOY,” fixed on the top of the trunk. This nominative plate adds a personal and original touch to the piece.
The interior is entirely made of wood and shows a beautiful natural patina. The trunk also retains its fittings, corner reinforcements, hinges, metal bands and handles.
