Elegant baptism set (or birth chest) complete 4-piece in silvered metal from the prestigious French silversmith Christofle, dating from the Art Deco period (circa 1930).

This ensemble is distinguished by its clean geometric lines and the facets typical of the era. Each piece is engraved with a highly graphic stylized monogram that fits perfectly with the original design.

The lot includes:
• 1 beveled-edged timbale (height: approx. 7.5 cm)
• 1 octagonal napkin ring
• 1 table spoon
• 1 table fork

Marks and hallmarks:
Each piece bears the official and authentic marks of Christofle. The set includes the nominative brand “CHRISTOFLE” in full and the silversmith’s hallmark.

Condition:
• Silverware pieces: Very good vintage condition. The silver plate is perfectly preserved and homogeneous across all pieces. Presence of micro-scratches from normal use given their age, which do not affect the overall brilliance of the set. No dents on the timbale.
• Original box: Present but sold as is. The case shows signs of wear due to time (external rubbing, corners damaged, and traces/yellowing on the satin interior fabric). Please carefully review the specific photos of the box.
