Description from the seller

Beautiful pair of anthropomorphic jugs known as “Jacqueline and Jacquot,” in faience with polychrome petite-feu decoration.
Jacqueline is depicted seated, hands resting on her knees, wearing a bonnet that forms the opening of the jug. The jug is very damaged and has been reglued; there are notable losses, see photo.
Jacquot is depicted standing, holding a bottle and a glass, wearing a blue bonnet forming the spout.
In good condition with a small chip on the lip.
The two figures are decorated with stylized flowers in blue, yellow, green and manganese on white enamel.
Their attribution may be Nevers faience, late 18th–early 19th century, with no visible mark.
Dimensions: Jacqueline 26 cm, Jacquot 30 cm.
