Description from the seller
AI information Hokushin SC-10M
The Hokushin SC-10M is a sturdy and reliable 16mm film projector from the mid-1970s (around 1976/1977). The device is renowned for its reliability, clear sound, and ease of use. Main specifications and features:
Film input: Equipped with the unique 'CIRCLOADING' automatic loading system, designated with numbers (1-2-3-4).
Sound playback: Equipped for both optical and magnetic sound, with a built-in speaker.
For auction offered a very reliable and user-friendly 16 mm projector from the Hokushin brand, model SC-10M with only 41 hours of use.
Comes from the attic fund of a barracks in the north of the country and used for training soldiers just before the switch to video.
The film is advanced via the rotating arm for which Hokushin is known. The projector is in like-new condition and runs very smoothly. The projector is equipped with: Optical and magnetic sound detection, a Canon lens 1:1.4-50mm, a new and used 24 V halogen lamp, a 220 V power cord, and original dust cover. The speed is 24 frames per second. The projector was released in 1976.
The projector has been cleaned (mainly dust), fully inspected, and has undergone maintenance. It works fine and shows hardly any signs of use both inside and outside. A small thin chip in the transparent cover of the company label (see photo), but otherwise in like-new condition. The sound is well reproduced through the built-in speaker. The film reels shown are not part of the lot; they are only for projection impression of this wonderful Hokushin.
See the attached photos for a clear impression. ---------- When purchasing this projector, no guarantees can be given regarding the lamp that is present in the device. A lamp that has been in the device for a long time may still work now and fail after transport. Replacement lamps are available online. Replacement lamp costs are not reimbursed by Catawiki or the seller.
Extra: a new lamp is included with this purchase.
